Having Issues With Sleep?

“Sleep depends on how your day has been. If you have emotional fatigue, the mind has created lower vibrational energy like stress or anger then your mind is tired. The quality of thoughts during the day is similar to the quality of thoughts at night. Because of this, ‌we don’t fall asleep easily. It is difficult to get a deep sleep when we have turbulent emotions throughout the day. This is the reason people need more hours of sleep as they are thinking, even during their sleep. It also depends on what you watched before sleeping.”

 

Explaining the Different Yugas

“We are going through a paradigm shift. There is a cycle of the golden age, silver age, copper age, and iron age, also known as Satya yuga, Treta yuga, Dvapara yuga, and Kaliyuga. Today’s world is ghor Kaliyuga which is also the peak of the iron age. We are at the peak of Kaliyuga, which means we are entering Satya Yuga”. 

When Is Kaliyuga Ending?

“It is not far away. The vices are at their peak. May it be ego, lust, greed, jealousy, hurt, or worry. This is the time of transition when the night is coming to an end.”

 

How Did B.K. Shivani Ended Up Joining Brahma Kumari?

“I started after the age of 25. Before that, I was doing engineering. I was having fun. My life has been good. I was good academically, and everything was well at home. Then my mother started practicing meditation. She kept telling me to do it. The more she said, the more I was running away from it. It took a couple of years, but I did start with meditation.” 

 

Is Life Unfair or Is It Karma?

“Some people work extremely hard, but still they don’t aren\’t that successful. Some people will get things easily, and people would say that is unfair. Everything is fair in this world. It is just that what we see in this world is visible karma, but we don’t know about the good deeds by that soul in a past life. Nothing is luck. Everything is pre-decided”.

 

Outcome Of Bad Karma

“The outcome will always be there for bad karma. But, if you have energized yourself maybe through meditation, then the way you will face it will be different. There would be no suffering. Meditation creates a shift in your personality”.

 

Astrology

“Astrological chart is mostly prepared a day or two after the child was born. The child has done no karma and the destiny chart is prepared. If karma creates destiny, how is the destiny chart prepared? It is the destiny of your soul. It is like the opening balance sheet. Astrology means the science of the influence of the planet on your sanskar. The influence of the planet might change. Some things might turn out based on the chart. Some won’t be based on how much change the soul has created. So you are the creator of your destiny”. 

Meditation and Spirituality

“Spirituality isn\’t about living a different life, wherein you leave everything. It is a way to be in your life. You don’t have to stop doing something because of your sadhna. Meditation and spirituality are not about sitting the whole day in stillness”.

“Anyone in your close karmic account in this life has met you in your previous life. You are not meeting them for the first time. It is not necessary to share the same bond. It may be good or bad. You might have to work on the bad ones and try making that a good bond.”

“If some substance is making you feel high and not divine, then it is a distraction. Everything that we listen to and read gives a spiritual meaning to it. We are looking at it physically. It means when you connect to the divine you will experience spiritual intoxication”

 

Significance Of Festivals

“All the festivals we celebrate, the rituals all have meaning on a deeper level. But in Kaliyuga we are only practicing the rituals, but not taking the spiritual lesson from that. Ganesh Chaturthi means being the one who can destroy obstacles. You should be able to finish sorrow and radiate happiness. In Navratri, the eight arms of the deity symbolize the eight power of the soul. We have Ravana with ten heads, which represent the ten vices. When you defeat your vices and rise above, we have Diwali. Diwali is lighting a Diya that means to give”.

True Purpose of Religion

“In the golden age and silver age, there was no religion and no experience of pain. That is why it is called paradise or heaven, and they are called deities today. By the time we enter the copper age, we get attached to the body and forget that we are a soul. That is where the first trace of lust, greed, and ego starts. This is when religion starts where teachers teach us to return to who we were. That is where prophets and the religious head come in. They came and taught us God is one. But we didn’t connect with the teaching but with the teacher. Then by the iron age, we started fighting in the name of religion. Religion was to bring us together”.
