My Tantra Journey – Shiva, Kaal Bhairava & Rituals

I want to share with you an in-depth account of my spiritual journey, particularly focusing on my experiences with Tantra, Shiva, and Kaal Bhairava, as discussed in my podcast, “The Ranveer Show.”

Beginning of the Journey:

  • My spiritual journey took a significant turn after visiting Banaras and the Kal Bhairav Mandir. This visit deeply resonated with me, drawing me towards the path of Tantra.

Exploration of Tantra:

  • Tantra, often misunderstood, is essentially about techniques and rituals for spiritual growth. My encounter with Rajarshi Nandi was pivotal in introducing me to the world of Tantra. This meeting coincided with Kal Bhairav Jayanti, which seemed more than just a coincidence.

Meditation Practices:

  • I have been practicing the Hong-Sau technique from the Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS), which I found to be profoundly impactful. This technique allowed me to reach deep meditative states, transcending my identity and connecting with a higher consciousness.

Shift in Spiritual Practices:

  • After my experience in Banaras and meeting with Rajarshi Nandi, I felt a shift in my spiritual practices. I began incorporating mantra chanting, specifically focusing on “Om Bhairav Namaha,” into my routine.

Impact of Tantra on Life:

  • Tantra has brought about a sense of speed and hustle in my spiritual journey. It has hastened my karmas and suffering, leading to a faster spiritual progression. This has also led to a detachment from material desires.

Realizations and Growth:

  • Through my practices, I’ve realized the importance of spiritual growth over material success. I’ve developed a stoic mindset, viewing life from a more balanced and centered perspective.

Submission to the Divine:

  • A significant aspect of my journey has been learning to submit my worries and aspirations to the divine. I’ve reached a point where I no longer seek material desires but trust in a higher plan for my life.

Reflections on Mental Health:

  • I discuss the interplay between spirituality and mental health, emphasizing that spirituality complements therapy. It’s about finding oneself through spiritual practices and therapy.

Current State of Spiritual Practice:

  • My current practice involves a combination of the Hong-Sau technique and chanting the “Om Bhairav Namaha” mantra. This has become a crucial part of my daily routine, especially before important tasks.

Concluding Thoughts:

  • I conclude by reflecting on the transformative power of my spiritual journey. It has led me to a profound sense of peace and submission to the divine, shaping my perspective on life and its purpose.
